Expertise extends from an in-depth understanding of frontline hardware and software issues to leading both first, second, and third-line teams in the UAE and UK to improve performance, group cohesion, and customer satisfaction. Which Included Facilities/operations management t of all the people, processes, services, and tools needed to run an office at the level it is meant to function. Which led to achieving ISO 27001 certification on behalf of Bird & Bird in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

September 2016 – Current Bird & Bird (MEA), LLP, Dubai, UAE as IT Manager

IT Manager with an integral role in global communication unification projects and IT integration for the UAE. Managed the IT needs for the Dubai and Abu Dhabi offices and successfully relocated the IT infrastructure and IT services to the new Dubai office without any business disruptions. Became an integral part of the region’s IT team. Worked closely with the UK IT team and the UAE’s Chief Operating Officer to implement a robust resilience and business continuity IT environment in the UAE resulting in IT hardware, software, and infrastructure being tested to ISO 127001 standard. Demonstrating integrity and professionalism. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, proven initiative, and a proactive attitude. Excellent proven organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage the expectations of our internal clients.

2015 – 2016 – Uniteam Medical Assistance, LLC, Dubai, UAE IT Manager

IT manager tasked to design and implement an in-house IT function and design structure for organisational IT architecture. Responsibilities included defining IT service, developing service level agreements with clients in the region. Primary objectives included overseeing optimal functioning within desktop, server, LAN / WAN, IT security, telecommunications systems, and corporate website. Provided the highest levels of IT service to ensure computer systems preformed at their highest levels to propel organisational growth.

2014 – 2015 – Computer Services LLC, Dubai, UAE as Manager and IT Services Desk Leader

Organisational leader tasked with overseeing the management of both first and second-line support teams. Ensured successful operations of fully responsive and robust services to provide proactive support to the growing client base.

2012 – 2014 – Clyde and Co. – Dubai, UAE as IT Service-Desk Team-Leader (MENA)

Managed all corporate IT services in the MENA region. Provided an IT team of nine professional engineers and technicians to resolve all their IT issues within their budget parameters. Faced various challenges ranging from social unrest in Libya to adapting to various working practices and vendors across the GCC.

2010 – 2012 – Kelway LLC (MENA), Dubai, UAE as IT Support Engineer

Employed as IT support engineer for several of the company’s UAE legal clients, including Pinsent Masons, KL Gates, and King and Spalding. Provided onsite IT support for organisational international clients, all of whom have an international footprint, and over fifty users on each of their sites.

2007 – 2009 – Virgin Media Ltd, Hook, Hampshire, UK, UAE, as Deployment Coordinator and Desktop Support Analyst

Contracted to develop a new domain management system and manage a team of twelve engineers to migrate over two thousand users from NTL\Telewest to the new domain based at Virgin Media’s Head office in Hook. Users included all Virgin senior management personnel as well as thirteen business departments. Ensured the deployment was executed quickly and efficiently within the time and budgetary constraints.
